On Feb. 12 a man in his car in a parking lot in the 500 block of Los Angeles Avenue was found to be under the influence of illegal drugs and in possession of a glass smoking pipe. He was arrested and transported to East Valley Jail.
Burglars entered a locked garage on Los Angeles Avenue on Feb. 12 and stole two guitars and an amplifier.
Someone stole property on Feb. 13 from a victim on Majestic Court.
A man on Princeton Avenue east of Spring Road was found to be under the influence of illegal drugs on Feb. 13.
On Feb. 13, during an attempt by deputies to serve a felony warrant at a home on Sherman Avenue, a brother of the suspect attempted to obstruct the investigation by battering a deputy.
Someone brandished a firearm at a victim in an undisclosed area of Moorpark on Feb. 14.
On Feb. 14, a man out on bail in a felony drug-related case was found parked in a no-parking zone in an undisclosed area of Moorpark. The odor of marijuana was coming from his car. The man showed signs of being under the influence, so he was arrested and his car was searched. A large number of methamphetamines was found in a secret compartment, as were packing items, glass meth pipes, marijuana and a large amount of cash.
Deputies arrested a man at the end of Wick Road on Feb. 14 for being under the influence of a controlled substance.
On Feb. 15 vandals used two red bricks to break the front glass window of the Dough Main Smoke Shop in the 6500 block of Collins Drive.
Thieves entered a building on Grimes Canyon Road on Feb. 16 and stole items.
On Feb. 17 a woman allowed her unlicensed son to drive her car. He ended up in a collision in an unspecified area of Moorpark.
Incidents of theft took place in the 800 block of Los Angeles Avenue at the dates indicated: Between Sept. 1and Feb. 4 a person stole money and property from the Target store. A man attempting to steal a bottle of perfume was placed under citizen's arrest on Feb. 4 inside Kohl's department store. On Feb. 5 a person involved in stealing money jars for charities from business front counters was found and arrested.
The Kohl's store was struck by thieves three times on Feb. 10.
On Feb. 12 somebody took a shirt into the Kohl's dressing room and concealed it on his person, leaving the store without paying for it. A man involved in another theft on Feb. 12 was also found to be in possession of marijuana. He was cited and released with a promise to appear in court.
Someone stole a bottle of rum from Kohl's store on Feb. 15. A woman attempted to steal property from Kohl's in a separate attempt on Feb. 15. She was cited and released. On Feb. 15 the Kohl's store was robbed of property in a third event.
On Feb. 18, property was stolen from Kohl's in four separate incidents.
Incidents of graffiti/vandalism took place at the dates and places indicated: Jan. 30 in the area of Arroyo Vista Park and Moorpark High School; Feb. 10 in the 100 block of High Street; Feb. 10 in the 200 block of High Street; Feb. 13 in the 4500 block of Tierra Rejada Road; Feb.14 in the 100 block of High Street; Feb. 18 in the 200 block of W. Los Angeles Avenue.
Incidents of auto vandalism or burglary took place at the dates and places indicated: Feb. 9 in the Do-it Center parking lot; Feb. 10 in the 300 block of High Street; Feb. 12 on High Street; sometime between Feb. 13 and 16 on Flynn Avenue; Feb 15 on Spring Creek Road.
An incident of a person driving without a license or a suspended license took place on Feb. 5 in an unidentified area of Moorpark.
An incident of DUI took place on Feb. 17 on Walnut Canyon Road near Championship Drive.
The following incidents took place outside incorporated Moorpark: Feb. 4, graffiti vandalism on Grimes Canyon Road around the 118; Feb. 18, driving without a license in an unidentified area.
