I am telling you people. WIERD things happen in OXNARD. Like, all the bad stuff in the news stems from that WIERD TOWN!
An Oxnard man was sentenced to 10 years in prison this week as part of a widespread investigation into the exchange of child pornography over the Internet.
George Tyler Farmer, 39, who was sentenced on Monday in U.S. Federal Court in Los Angeles, faces a mandatory 10-year prison term because of a prior conviction in a child-exploitation case, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Farmer was convicted of molesting a Ventura County girl in 1987.
He pleaded guilty in November to one count of possession of child pornography.
Authorities searched Farmer’s Oxnard apartment in April of 2008 and found still images and videos of “extreme” child pornography involving children as young as 2 or 3, according to the statement.
Once he is released from prison, Farmer will be required to register as a sex offender and will be on supervised release for 20 years.

The L.A. County District Attorney has just charged Chris Brown with felony assault and making a criminal threat, also a felony.
Brown will be arraigned today at 3:30 PM in downtown LA.
Given there were allegedly visible injuries, the crime of making criminal threats is punishable by up to nine years in prison. Domestic abuse is four years.
