Man Charged With Keeping Girl As Sex Slave
Shawn Barth is accused of keeping a 13-year-old girl captive in this motorhome as a sex slave.

A man has been charged with holding a 13-year-old girl as a sex slave for months in a remote motorhome in Moorpark.
Shawn Barth was arraigned on rape charges Wednesday in Ventura County Superior Court.
Sheriff's Detective Eric Buschow says the 46-year-old kept the girl as a sex slave for several months, sexually assaulting her daily.
The girl was taken into protective custody last week and her name has not been released. Buschow says she was the daughter of a woman Barth had dated.
Buschow says the girl was allowed to go to school but Barth kept her isolated and she was too afraid to report the abuse.
Barth was arrested after the school discovered a possible restraining order against him.
Barth is being held on $1 million bail. His next court date is Oct. 2.
